Its a great app for planning a NYC trip, but there are a bunch of bugs (running a 2nd gen iPod Touch) that make using it a pain. If those were fixed, it would be excellent.

Excellent app for first time two day visit! Easy to use and especially liked the suggested walking routes. Would recommend this app and will buy again for another city.

The app is a good way to organize your trip. It does what it promises and gives an easy way to add and reorder sites to your trip itinerary . Easy to use and understand. My only complaints are that u can only create one itinerary at a time And you cant move a site of interest from one day to the next on your itinerary.

Solid app, great for our trip. My family is tired of me raving about it. Ill definitely use it again for other travel. Definitely need to add functionality to easily move points of interest from one day to another -- I assume thats coming.

Unfortunately this was a major disappointment, should have been priced at .99 cents. Im a native New Yorker and this guide basically focuses on midtown to downtown Manhattan. New York is composed of 5 boroughs. Could not find a single shop or restaurant located in Uptown Manhattan. Uptown New York is loaded with shops and restaurants from all ethnic backgrounds! The only point of interest that it mentioned was Fort Tryon Park ( Cloisters ). You can forget the rest of the boroughs. lol Extremely limited results. The only thing I liked about this app was that it covered all the downtown points of interest which included some additional information such as address and contact numbers. However, its not enough to call this a New York City Travel Guide. The map is lacking. Needs hybrid, satellite and on ground viewing. What happened to all the boroughs ? Dont get me started on the subway map. This is a NY downtown tourist guide at best.

Purchased app for $5.99. Its worth only .99 the best. I have lots of app but this one is not intuitive & its difficult to use. It cant even find my location, probably limited to Manhattan. Without going into much details, I thought this would be a great app for its price but needs more work. This is not a keeper.

Have ingeresting features but 5.99 its too much that this app can offer to you

I purchased this app for a trip to NYC in July. The list of restaurants is very limited, as well as shopping and some attractions. The navigation does not give you routes to go on just a line to it. The augmented reality it did not work very well. Do not waste your time or money on the app, just the google map on your phone.

I found this app to see what I wanted and paying attention to the pointer always got me there on first time.

The overall app is very attractive. The graphics are pleasing. The homepages content makes planning your trip easy. I can get information quickly. It is a leading edge design well-suited to first-time and repeat users. Impressive colors, graphics, photos, etc. I enjoy using the mtrip guides and would highly recommend the app to a friend or colleague.

Seems silly to complain about an app I didnt have to pay for (thanks to a recent mTrip promotion that offered several of its city guides for free download). But if Id have had to pay for this, I wouldve been disappointed, mainly due to the awful writing and descriptions, which seem to have been translated from English into another language and back again. Very distracting for what cold have been a decent travel guide. Maybe try employing better writers/native English speakers for the next round of updates?

Food too expensive for what it is. Place is clean and people are nice but food did not have much taste.

My wife and I are planning out first trip to NYC and cant imagine trying to plan it without this app! The Trip Genius feature is JUST that; genius! Thank you!

This is how all trip planners should work. A little rough around the edges but really good way to plan a trip This app allows you to organize your trip with itinerary. Just set your trip dates, select items from list of Museums, Attractions etc. add them to your itinerary by time of day and then shows you a map of your items only in the order that makes sense. It allows you to group your destinations by proximity. My only issue with these apps is the lists are missing really major items. It doesn’t seem that hard to me to list ALL the museums in Manhattan. And is it too hard to list destinations in alphabetical order. Don’t ever expect that an app like this is going to be a source for restaurants or reviews on anything. Do your homework on Google. Enter your choices in the app.
